Currently there are to much of so many types of businesses in cities and towns all over America. Many of the business owners got arrogant and sloppy in the economic boom. I was shocked there was to many stores selling the same thing for prices that were just to high. There were to many places to eat and to many hotels, etc. Customer service was terrible and the business owners did not care because people still came in and bought things.
A recession or economic crunch kicks out the bad businesses with poor customer service and thins out the herd. Instead of ten poor quality places to eat on Main Street, the recession causes only the best to survive. So to survive they need to improve the food and the customer experience, and lower the costs. Consumers come out ahead.
In the end after much pain and complaints, everyone comes out ahead and the economy is stronger for it. Do you agree?
