If you have a tv license for your home address you are permitted to watch a tv away from your home for example in a caravan or car providing no-one else you live with is at home watching the tv at the same time.

You need a certification from each television network to watch their show in your car. The cost is $50-$100 annually depending on which network you sign up with.
