  • you can buy 9mm Largo surplus ammo even cheaper than .380. But if your previous research says so, go with that. There are too many teenage experts on here for me to trust their opinion

    Do not try shooting 9mm Luger ammo in it. The difference in case taper will cause problems for you


  • .38 ACP is quite different from .380 ACP. .380 is a pocket pistol cartridge, and will not work in your 9mm largo. Buy the proper ammunition for it- it's probably cheaper than .38 ACP (which was originally used n the old Colt semiautomatics which preceded the 1911).


  • 380 is not interchangeable
    Not even close

    Largo is more like a 9mm magnum round- 9x23
    380 is 9mm short-9x17

    It should not even feed properly and if it does it will not have enough pressure to cycle the action
