  • That's Daniele DeRossi. In fairness to him, he apologized after the match and said it was an accident and he deserved to be sent off.

    I don't know what was worse: Zidane's sending off or this year Beaujolais Nouveau. I was really rooting for France to win it.

  • All this "Beaujolais Nouveau" thing is a con trick.it is what it is: a primeur, barely real wine at all. just something to get juiced on at the end of the harvest. it makes for a nice tradition in lyon on the third thursday of november, but it's becoming a planetary event is cause for concern.

    toutefois, meilleurs voeux (surtout la santé, n'est-ce pas?) pour la nouvelle année!
