I work for a web hosting company and as part of our many services, we provide Reseller Accounts from as low as $30/month USD.
It sounds some what silly to still be selling packages for other companies when you could be creating a stable income for yourself. You are already selling hosting packages now, so why not start selling them for your own benefit?
At $30 you get:
Space: 3000 MB
Transfer: 30000 MB
Cpanel 8/WHM 8
Plus! A Gift Certificate for Flash Tutorials at LearnAlong.com (http://www.learnalong.com)

I have had enormous problems with my host server (crazyhostguy.com). It has even come to me asking for a refund.
If you do go for it my suggestion, fwiw, is pay monthly. The annual fee looks very atractive but you try to get a refund.
Since the fall of Lightship it's been difficult at best to get a nearby datahouse, hence the move to co-located servers.
At any rate, bandwidth is cheap these days.
If you're really interested in it seach Google for sites which have affiliate programs. That way you needn't pay to be a reseller. You won't make as much money but you won't have to do the support or learn as much if you don't know a great deal about it. In time, with patience and a hefty amount of startup capital you can consider it but it's likely to be a long and slow road, certainly not a "lucrative" business venture. Not to mention that it's a dog-eat-eat dog type environment and there's always someone willing to give it away.
