  • She doesn't listen to me ever! She is being a big itch today and yelling and acting very rude. I can't stand her anymore!

    What can I do?

    I have talked and talked to her yet she doesn't care!

  • Just ignore her and everything she does...because you cant MAKE her listen so show her back..she cant make you listen or pay attention


  • maybe she on her pms or her period do something that might get her attention

  • First of act calm when talking to her, dont raise your voice, maybe she wont.When she acts rude, tell her this is serious, can you be my mom for a minute?
    It's either that or do something drastic to get her attention, but i wouldn't reccomend that...
    Just be very serious, hopefully it will rub off.

  • Sometimes they just wont listen.

    Just try not to be this type of parent when you have kids.
    My mom wont listen to anyone


  • You have to put more details...why is she yelling? You need just to say mom, can i talk to you...and tell her exactly how you feel. Don't be rude about, be sincere. A mother wants a daughter to be able to tell her anything, but just watch the way you word things, and how you say it. She is your mother, she knows what is right for you, even if you don't understand it right now.


  • As someone said from one of your other questions, she may be going through menopause.

    Do a quick google search to read up on it.


    Also, she may have other things going on in her daily life where you can't be the center of her attention. Just give her some space and be understanding.

  • urghh i hate mom troubles :P. but maybe try doing something nice for her, to make her see you care about her. Then she will hopefully take the time to care and listen to you.

  • talking and communicateing aretwo different things. mabe you should try to find out what her problems are. don't always think that she needs to fix all your problems. it is very easy to think that our parents are not peaple too. she has problems and needs just the same as you. she is a person first then a mother . try to keep that in prospective

  • Don't make it about her. Don't say "you never listen to me" "you did this" "you never let me talk". You have to make it all about you. "I'd really like it if you listened to me" "I don't like it when you ignore me" "i'm trying to tell you something, but I'm not sure if you're getting it" try not to start an arguement by not blaming her.
